 It's MY day - me, Timber!!!  Today is my birthday!!!

EIGHT years old - how did that happen???  

Yes, Timber, it is really a shock to your peeps that you are celebrating #8.  Time really needs to slow down.

Mom says it seems like only yesterday she saw this first pic of me from our breeder friend.

I looked a lot different then.

Look at this silly photo - why do I have a bucket on my head?

Our longtime followers might remember that I was dubbed with the nickname of Buckethead because of my silly eyebrows that made the outline of a "bucket on my head". 

And then there was the stage of the oversized Dumbo ears.

Look at how small I was once upon a time.

The peeps still think of me as the baby of the family.  Mom says I have a very tender personality despite all the quirks I may have.  I get along so very well with Misty.  And I will never forget my bond with Angel Lightning whom I still miss so very much.

Sunday Ussie Surprise

  So what is the surprise????

It's US!!!!  We are here with a surprise appearance after being MIA for way too long.  Life here has been very hectic with our Dad's surgery and recovery.  Mom has been trying hard to find time to keep up with our blog and with helping us visit your blogs.  But she says she just had to let some things fall by the wayside.  We aren't totally back but we insisted we had to say hello today.  And later this week somePup has a birthday.  Stay tuned.

And today running free with all his pack friends across the Rainbow Bridge.

Happy 14th Birthday to our Gentle Bear Big Boy Lightning.

As they say, some things never change.

Little Brady Bear is now Big Brady Bear - two months shy of turning 16!!!  Timber is so very happy that BBB still loves to cuddle with a special pup.  They had so much fun together on Easter Sunday.

 We are here to wish you all a very Happy and Blessed Easter!!!

Life here has been crazy for several days now, and so we haven't been able to visit you.  We are sorry and hope to get back to normal soon.  Our Dad had to have a medical procedure last week that is taking up a lot of Mom's time.  Another procedure will be happening in a few weeks, so we will do our best to get our secretary to help us with our blog and with visiting all of you.  Bear with us.

We hope the Easter Bunny was good to you.  But also remember the real reason we celebrate today - the Good Lord is risen!!!
